NYALLAH (pronouns: they/them) is a Los Angeles-born, Sierra Leonean-American, gender-fluid artist working across music, performance, and interdisciplinary storytelling. A graduate of USC’s Popular Music program, their work has been recognized by Bandcamp Daily, Teen Vogue, NTS Radio, and dublab, with sold-out performances at venues including The Peppermint Club, Baby’s All Right, The Miracle Inglewood, Public Records, and the Brooklyn Museum. They are a member of the 2025 GLAAD Black Queer Creative Summit cohort, and their interdisciplinary practice has been supported by NYFA and the City of Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs, expanding their work across film, artistic programming, sound, and archival storytelling.

They are the founder and programming director of NOIR STUDIOS, a Black-led creative studio focused on public programming, live experiences, and creative learning rooted in sound, care, and gathering. Its flagship series, NOIR AT NITE, is a live music platform presented in Los Angeles and New York City that preserves and celebrates Black music through immersive, community-centered performance. Through NOIR AT NITE, NYALLAH has curated and produced sold-out events featuring artists such as serpentwithfeet, DJ Hourglass and ByHaze, alongside a growing network of independent Black queer, TGNC, and femme artists across both cities, cultivating spaces for live music and cultural connection.

NYALLAH’s recorded work includes Reflections (2019) and R+B (2023). Reflections introduced their practice as a vocalist and songwriter rooted in vulnerability, memory, and sonic storytelling. R+B marks their emergence as a composer and producer, reimagining R&B through a queer lens—challenging the conflation of desirability with love while transforming lived experience into a soundscape of intimacy, resistance, and release.
