The Dating Unsettled Experience was an in-person podcast party hosted by Joy Ofodu, blending humor, thoughtful conversation, and community to challenge the pressures and pessimism of modern dating. Held at BLKYN BLEND, the event provided a space for fans to gather, enjoy delicious food, and engage in light-hearted discussions about love, life, and dating. The event celebrated Joy’s mission to embrace humor as a healing tool in navigating relationships.

The goal was to support an engaging and authentically loving atmosphere during a two-hour interactive experience that reflected the spirit of the Dating Unsettled podcast, while engaging Brooklyn fans in meaningful conversations.

I worked closely with Joy Ofodu to bring her podcast to life in an event format, managing onsite venue logistics and enhancing fan engagement. Collaborating with BLKYN BLEND, I helped create the perfect atmosphere, ensuring that the food delivery, ambiance, and overall flow aligned with Joy’s vision of a laid-back, communal space. I oversaw guest communication, promoted podcast downloads, coordinated with vendors, and contributed to a seamless program that facilitated both casual mingling and structured conversations, capturing the essence of the Dating Unsettled podcast.
